love affair with vita mix day 3

Breakfast:
Started with Farmers Market Chantarais Melon.
Then made Spelt-Wheat-Pecan Bread (it kneads bread). It was my first loaf of yeasted bread, ever, it was a bit moist and it didn't rise completely, but still tasted delicious, sith fried eggs.

Prepare 1pkt yeast with 1c water and 1TBS Honey. Set aside for a bit.
1c spelt flour
3/4c wheat flour (next time use 1c)
Put flours in dry blender and whizz to make a well in center. (Next time grind the grain).
Add yeast mixture, 1TBSP caramalized ghee and 1/4c finely chopped pecans.
knead using Vitamethod (on and off quickly until it forms a dough ball)
Turn into a 41/2inx81/2in loaf pan, and let rise 15-25min
bake at 350 degrees for 30-40min

Afternoon:
chips and guac with virgin mojito

3 lemons (peel and quarter) (fresh meyer lemons from the garden, I can eat them like oranges they are so amazing)
1 heaped TBSP evaporated cane juice
1-2 mint leaves
1/4c water
3/4c ice

blend. pour into glass and drink. sigh and smile.

Joined a foodie cult

and bought a Vita Mix. I now look at everything with new eyes.
Could I blend that? How would I make that with my Vita Mix?

First recipe was last night, a simple carrot soup, cooked while blending - it blends so fast it comes out hot! It was ok, but I could do way better.

Tonight the food muse blessed me:

Whole wheat spiral pasta with Sun Dried Sweet Pepper and Asparagus sauce

Threw peppers in VM with hot water to rehydrate
Poured off a bit of hot water, added the bottom bits from grilled asparagus
A pinch of ginger powder and 1/4 pinch of salt
Blended till smooth
Mixed sauce with pasta and threw asparagus tips and garlic pieces on top
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
